Why this site

Most Alaska travel sites are built for cruise passengers. The road trip info that exists is great but mostly in print. I wanted one place, built for a phone, where a family can plan the drive north.

We snowbird between Florida and Alaska, we have done the Alaska Highway with our kids several times, and we have crossed the country in an RV twice. This site is what I wish I had the first time.

[MITCHELL'S TIP] Placeholder: a short opening story about the first time Mitchell drove the highway as a dad.
